1. Acceptance
By accessing or using ClearLedger (clearledger.co.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What We Provide
ClearLedger is a data cleaning tool for Indian businesses. Our services include Excel/CSV/PDF data cleaning, GST and PAN validation, bank statement auto-detection (HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, PNB, Canara, BOB), payslip generation, Tally XML export, Zoho Books export, bank reconciliation, and GST 2B reconciliation.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the platform only for lawful business, accounting, payroll, GST, banking, reporting, and automation purposes.
4. Prohibited Use
You agree not to upload malicious or illegal files, attempt unauthorized access, overload or reverse engineer the service, or use the platform for fraudulent activities of any kind.
5. File Storage & Deletion
Uploaded files are stored in private, encrypted cloud storage and are never publicly accessible. All uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted within 48 hours of upload. You are responsible for downloading any outputs before this period. We do not retain your financial data beyond this window.
6. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for verifying uploaded data, reviewing all generated outputs, checking reconciliations, validating reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. No Professional Advice
ClearLedger does not provide legal advice, tax advice, accounting certification, auditing services, or financial consultancy. Any generated output should not be treated as certified professional advice.
8. Free Tier & Paid Plans
ClearLedger offers a free tier for your first file. Free users can upload up to 10 files per month. Paid plans are available for higher usage. Pricing may change with prior notice.
9. Service Availability
We may modify features, suspend services, introduce limits, perform maintenance, or discontinue functionality at any time without prior notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall ClearLedger be liable for data loss, incorrect outputs, financial damages, tax penalties, compliance failures, business losses, or indirect damages resulting from platform usage. All services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
